Where can you read our reviews?
Every review we have sits on our Google profile: [Google review profile link] — the one place we can't edit, tidy up or cherry-pick. If a review says we were late, it stays up. If one says a machine gave trouble again, it stays too — usually with our reply underneath.
We don't copy star ratings onto this page. Ratings move as new reviews land — the only honest version is the live one on Google, dates and all.
How do we collect reviews?
After a finished job, we ask once, by text or email, whether you'd leave a Google review. That's the whole system. We don't ask twice, offer money off in return, or ever ask anyone to change or take down a review. Ignore the message and nothing changes: your warranty and our service stay exactly the same.
Why so strict? Because reviews only count if they show the whole picture — a page of nothing but five stars is a highlight reel.
What do Dublin customers actually judge a repairer on?
The same worries surface again and again in Dublin forum threads. Here is each one — and our answer.
Paying a call-out for a dead machine. The dread at the top of the list. Our call-out is €79, credited in full against the repair if you go ahead. If the machine isn't worth fixing, you pay that €79 for the diagnosis and nothing more — no pressure at the kitchen door, no invented extras.
Being told honestly it isn't worth fixing. If a machine is past sensible repair — bearings gone on a twelve-year-old drum, say — we'll tell you to put the money towards a new one, and show you why. Most repairs land between €149 and €249 all-in; major jobs run €279 to €420, and you'll know in advance if yours is heading that way.
Parts delays and being strung along. We order parts the day we diagnose, give you the honest wait upfront, ring you if it slips — and the return visit to fit it carries no second call-out charge.
The quoted price being honoured. The full price — parts and labour — is confirmed after diagnosis, before work starts. If we uncover a second fault, we stop and re-quote. Every job gets an invoice; card, cash and transfer accepted.
Can anyone recommend a washing machine repair person on the Dublin northside?
It starts half the recommendation threads on Dublin forums, and the honest answer is: don't book on a name alone, ours included. Put three questions to any repairer. Are they registered and insured? Asking about CRO registration and insurance is fair. Is the full price fixed in writing before work starts? And how long is the warranty, in months rather than a vague "fully guaranteed"?
We've traded since 1999 and our workmanship warranty runs a full 12 months. Hold us to those three tests, and everyone else too.
Comparing repair companies in Dublin
Searches like "drm washing machine repair dublin review" and "sharfix washing machine repair dublin" land here regularly — comparing repairers first is exactly what reviews are for. We won't score other companies for you; be wary of any repairer who does. Judge theirs as you'd judge ours: how they respond to unhappy customers, whether prices and call-out terms are written down, whether the warranty is stated in months. Then run the same checks on us.
